Govt announces Public holiday for auspicious occasion

To mark the auspicious occasion of the swearing-in ceremony and assumption of their respective offices by the first President and Vice President on Wednesday, the government has decided to give public holiday on Thursday.

Issuing a press statement, the Home Ministry said all government offices across the country and Nepal's diplomatic missions abroad will remain closed on Thursday.
