At the time when the strike launched by the doctors to bow down the government to their demands at its top, a child died at Kanti Child Hospital in the capital in lack of treatment today.
8-year old Pasang Sherpa, who was admitted to the Hospital for dysentery, died at around 9 this morning.
Relatives of the deceased have accused the doctors of not providing proper treatment which led to his death.
Sherpa’s family claimed that he was not even provided with saline on time.
However, doctor involved in the kid’s treatment Dr Sushil Dhungel said that Sherpa was killed as his lungs were jammed due to his own puke.
Sherpa was not prescribed for saline since he was in the state to eat and drink from his mouth itself, the doctor informed.
This death incident comes a few days after the family of late Narayan Shah claimed the involved doctors responsible for the death.
