Though the match was meaningless for both Nepal and Pakistan since both team were out from the league round of the ongoing fifth SAFF championship football tournament, Nepal defeated Pakistan 4-1 in their last league match in Maldives on Saturday.
Jumanu Rai scored a brace in the second half after Raju Tamang and Nirajan Rayamajhi had put Nepal 2-0 ahead in the first six minutes.
Though the match has no meaning to Nepal it was much for the Nepal forwarder Nirajan as goal for him was an important one as he equalled Hari Khadka's record of 13 goals in international level.
Tamang put Nepal ahead in the fourth minute when he scored on a rebound of Rayamajhi, who doubled the tally two minutes later. After the break, Hamar Ihhaq pulled one back for Pakistan in the 54th minute. Jumanu then scored in the 67th and 87th minutes as Nepal registered their first win.
