Embassy of Israel in Nepal is taking 25 Nepali working in several sectors in Nepal to Haifa in Israel to train them for early childhood development training.
The embassy officials, during an interaction programme in the capital yesterday said that 25 staff members from the Department of Education and other institutions like UNICEF and Save the Children/Nepal would get training at Golda Meir Mount Carmel International Training Center, Haifa in Israel from May 19 to 29.
"The training program is specially designed to contribute to the expansion and improvement of early childhood care and education for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children in Nepal," said a statement issued at the program.
Since the establishment of diplomatic relations with Nepal, about 1,300 Nepali professionals have attended international courses in various fields of human resource development in Israel at the government and private levels, the statement said.
Earlier in 2005, the embassy in cooperation with Nepal government, had provided seven-day master trainers training for professionals in education sector in Kathmandu.
