“Sex enhanced my love and helped to convert it into a successful marriage,” says Ashish Syangden, RJ of Kantipur FM. “I felt more devoted and connected after we committed that blissful act.”
Syangden feels that in order to know someone, being physically and mentally connected with one another is a must.
“Sex plays like an essential alchemy for people in love and it is the most important aspect in bringing them closer,” he further adds.
“In order to being spiritually and emotionally conjoint, sex plays the part of a catalyst.
There are many people who would like to differ from thinking that sex is not the accentuation for falling in love but I’m sure that they can’t give any strong reasons to censure it, either,” expressed Nirakar Yakthumba of Moksh and 1974 AD.
Unbelievable it may seem, but the libido-inspired stage of our species is also the most spiritual one — the moment when the emotive and the tangible intertwine melodiously with one another.
Nikhil Uprety, the actor who married into his long and romantic love affair, expressed that sex played a foremost role in getting to know his love and helped him to commit more.
“People who take the most serene of all acts as a mere physical pleasure are very despiteful characters. I’m open about sex but not in support of obscenity and vulgarity. Sex should be considered as an exclusive and intimate of acts, to be done only with your soul-mate,” explains Uprety.
Swastik, a software engineer at JAVRA, feels that sex is not only for pleasure but also to show your submission and trust towards one another.
Long gone are the days when men were considered as the assayers of sex and women the commitment loonies.
This is a ‘New’ Nepal, and apart from it turning it into a ‘Red Nation’, it has started paving the way for a sexual revolution in a previous Hindu Kingdom.
Be it for feminist movement, the simple expressway to modernism, or a simple acknowledging of the truth, women seem to be shored up for healthy sex rather than men.
Men, unlike what was believed, seem to value the in-depth significance of sex more, and rather than depending on their libido, they seem to deal with their heart.
The placidity towards pre-marital bliss has been increasing with an overwhelming sense of obligation. Poojana Pradhan, the actress, feels that a healthy sexual relationship is a must for people in love.
“If the partners are comfortable with one another and their hearts sing the tunes of one another, then the peccadillo of sex turns into the purgatory of making love,” expressed Pradhan. Pramila, a MA student concurring with Pradhan’s statement, feels that being physical matters a lot in emotional relationship more than flippant flings.
“I feel there’s more connection and bonding after being physical. Physical intimacy further leads to emotional closeness. Besides, having sex is a common concept in the present generation. So I don’t see any harm in being sexually active as long as it’s healthily practiced,” she expresses with a dense demureness.

“Being physical has become so common these days, and blithesome sexual relationships are considered to be chic and cool. But still, as far as possible, women/girls must refrain from being physically intimate with a sudden jolt of hormonal impulses,” warns Sneha Rana, a BA student.
“The whole taboo thing is still very much applicable to girls in our society, regardless of how modern she is. One of my friends had to go through abortion at the age of 19, and my cousin sister was blackmailed by her ex-boyfriends. Refraining until the nuptials is what I’m sticking with,” elucidates Manita Gurung (name changed), a nurse at Bir Hospital, sharing her personal experience and admonishing the growing franchise of casual sex.
Sex is definitely the priceless recreational pleasure of life, but limiting it to being just the lone reason is profanely stupendous.
Rather, sex is the most affirmative adhesive to bind the souls of two different human beings into one. It’s an invaluable emotional experience for persons in love.
Condors not only mate for a lifetime but also discourage infidelity by attacking any vulture caught philandering.
Thank God, we don’t share our genes with those old-school bird-brained conformists..
