Noted pop singer Nalina Chitrakar has been nominated as a candidate for Madhesi Janadhikar Forum under proportional electoral system for upcoming April 10 CA polls from Itahari of Sunshari district.
Taking the nomination proposal as an opportunity and honor to her, Chitrakar decided to field from the Forum, reported online khabar.
I am taking it as a challenge and will actively involve for the victory of the Forum though I was not concern to it earlier, said Chitrakar.
Chitrkar who said she was unknown about proportional system has became fame after she handed over her visiting card to Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala during the latter’s consultation with artists recently.
