No flights have been operated at the Simra Airport in Bara since two days. According to airport source, the planes have not take off and landed due to the lack of visibility, reports Nagrik News.

Normally one thousand and five hundred meter visibility is required for the airport, said chief of airport Bikram Raj Gautam, ‘but the airport witnessed only hundred meter visibility on Tuesday.’ Buddha airlines which used to make daily five flights has been grounded citing poor visibility.

Due to the lack of flight nearly two hundred travelers have been stranded and the airport has been facing loss of eighty thousand rupees each day. Likewise, airlines company have incurring 0.8 million loss within in two days. The flights will be halted for a couple of days if there is no improve in climate, said airport source.
