No Russian but Ukraine nationals dead in Annapurna avalanche
A Russian embassy official has confirmed that no of its citizens were killed or missing in the devastating Seti flood triggered by an avalanche at the Annapurna Mountain Range as reported in local media.
There are no Russians among the flood victims in Nepal, the official has been reported as saying by the RIA Novosti news agency.
Alexei Yekin, the Russian official has confirmed to the RIA that the three missing foreigners mentioned in local media are citizens of Ukraine.
At least 17 people were killed and dozens are still missing by raging flood waters from the swollen Seti River near the tourist resort of Pokhara in northern Nepal on Saturday.
