Bleak picture of human rights in midwest
At least 40 women were raped during last year in theMidwestdevelopment region, according to a statistic.
The report prepared by the Informal Sector Service Center (INSEC) has stated that the 12 women were made the victims of other cases of sexual violence during the period.
Similarly, 18 persons were killed in bomb explosions, three while preparing bombs, one in ambush, eight in scuffles and 23 others in shootouts during the period in the region, according to the Human Rights Book-2012.
