Business Advantage, Welcome Advertising grab limelight in Crity Award
The most creative advertisements and their creators were honoured in the 7th Crity Award held on Saturday at Soaltee Crowne Plaza in Kathmandu. A total of 40 agencies contested for 23 award categories.
Of the total participants, Business Advantage and Welcome Advertising and Marketing grabbed the limelight, scooping up three awards each.
Business Advantage won the best TVC, best print photographer and best bill board awards, while Welcome Advertising won best TVC script writer, best TVC editor and most popular TVC. Both the agencies jointly bagged best creative agency award.
Outreach, Max L’agence and V-Chitra made a tie for the second position, winning two awards each. Outreach clinched the best jingle composer and best radio jingle awards for Real Jindagi Ramaucha and Max L’agence won the best TVC director and best TVC cameraperson for the Ncell launch campaign.
V-Chitra bagged the best commercial campaign and best event manager awards for Hamro mann ma Wai Wai and Phlips-consumer lifestyle, respectively.
Ace Media and Marketing, Sanjivani Media Services, MARS, Nawayug Media Solution, Aptitude Privated Limited, Applied Value, Prismark Marketing, Tristar Entertainment and Media Private Limited, Linez Private Limited and Munz Private Limited bagged one award each. The award for the best creative youth went to Bidhan Rajbhandari and Tshering Tamang.
Raj Kumar Bhattarai, president of the Advertising Association of Nepal (AAN), speaking on the occasion, said the award ceremony was a way to celebrate as well as honour creative professionals in the advertisement industry. He added that the award will play a pivotal role in nurturing young talents in the industry.
